What type of dogs do you breed, and what inspired you to get involved with that particular breed?
We breed Shortybulls. The wife wanted a Frenchie, I wanted an English, so basically it was a compromise.

We feed raw and kibble, mixed in with some supplements to keep our dogs balanced and healthy.

I think it’s difficult to overcome the bad images the public has been given from bad breeders/owners, who give the community a bad name.

How do you think they can overcome this thing?
By informing the community and the public about these people. Social media is your friend.

Who do you look up to in the bully game, and why?
Jamie Sweet for creating the breed. Pat at HSD (Hawaiis Strongest Dog), for his extensive knowledge. “Aloha”.

The acquiring of my male Bully, aka Fettywap, aka Fattywap. From our first meeting, the connection was just there. Mahalos to Joe and Ash.

I would like to see more honesty. No more rigged shows or falsified pedigrees. I would like to just see everyone keep it ?.

What separates your kennel from the competition?
Bredright Bullies is a small family operated kennel. Our main focus is proper breeding to the standard. We focus on structure, health, and the overall well being of our dogs. We are not in this game for financial reasons. With that said we might only produce one litter a year, or none at all. Here at Bredright Bullies, our dogs are our family, and family comes first.

What other hobbies or interests do you take part in?
I like to keep my hands busy, from wrenching on vehicles to working on that Honey-Do list. I get my biggest enjoyment from cooking for my family and friends.

What motto do you live by?
Don’t chase money. Chase “DREAMS”!

What do you think of Bully Girl Magazine?
I like that BGM is out here representing for the bully community, and giving the small guys a voice.
