State your kennel name, and where you are located.
My name is Charles, of Big Dogz ‘R’ Us Kennels. We are located in Central Islip, New York, right in my hood where I love it.

What type of dogs do you breed?
I used to breed Boston Terrier’s, but now I strictly breed Bullmastiff’s, and Bullies.

How long have you been working with these dogs, and what inspired you to begin working with this breed?
I started back in 1989. I had seen a pit bull that I really wanted, so I ended up bringing it home, and my mother asked me “How are your going to take care of this dog, when you can’t even take care of yourself yet?”. Long story short, I ended up not listening and bringing this dog in the house anyway, and once it got big, I bred it to one of my boy’s pit bulls. Learning to breed, from when I was a little kid, was how I fell in love with this breed, and I’ve been breeding since then.

What kennel clubs are your dogs registered under?
All of my dogs are registered with the ABKC, and UKC registries.

Do you currently show any of your dogs?
Yes, I show a lot of dogs. I also took a lot of losses in the ring too. But then I started winning, because I started practicing in my yard. Once you do the practice at home, they do right in the show ring.

What separates Big Dogz ‘R’ Us Kennels from the competition?
We are a family orientated kennel. It’s about the kids, it’s not really about me going in the ring. We strive hard to get them in the ring, and make them realize that they are the future. That’s what separates us from everybody else.

What would you say to change peoples minds about this breed?
I would like to say that these dogs are friendly. They can be around kids, and other dogs. They’re not aggressive. If you have an aggressive dog, you made it that way. I’ve never had any situation where my dog has bitten somebody. These dogs are awesome!

What type of diet do you keep your dogs on?
I usually alternate between hamburger meat, chicken backs, ground beef, and kibble.

What characteristics do you look for in two dogs, before you breed them?
Before I breed, I say both dogs need to be short. I like short stuff, but my wife is into the taller dogs, so I kinda have to breed both tall and short. But me, I say short, short, short.

Do you have any dogs up for stud?
I have one dog up for stud right now. His name is Popeye. His stud fee is $1500, and a pup back.

What do you think of Bully Girl Magazine?
If it wasn’t for Bully Girl Magazine, I wouldn’t really be at the top of my game. I’ve been advertising with Bully Girl since day one. I might have missed a few issues, but my dogs are in the majority of the issues, and everything that y’all have ever done for me was fly. Big shout to Bully Girl Magazine, from Big Dogz ‘R’ Us kennels, number one in junior handlers, and number one in breeding right now.
