State your name, and where your kennel is located.
Our kennel name is 302 Bullies, and we are located in Delaware!
What type of dogs do you breed, and what inspired you to get involved with that particular breed?
We breed pocket and standard American Bullys. We were inspired to breed bully’s when we followed the world famous “hulk”, on social media. We absolutely fell in love with Hulk and all his puppies. We hope one day to purchase one of “hulks” sons or daughters, so we can also get into breeding XL bully’s!
What type of diet do you keep your dogs on throughout the year?
I actually keep my dogs on a simple diet. I give them Pro Plan 30/20 food, mixed with Ultra 24, which is a powdered milk. I add a bit of water and mix it very well! I also give my dogs Bully Max Muscle supplement pills everyday, but I make sure they get double the amount of exercise because the pills definitely give them a lot of energy. Lol.
What is your favorite bloodline?
My Favorite bloodlines would have to be Razors Edge, Fully Loaded Bully, and Bullseye blood!
Do you currently show, any of your dogs?
I actually don’t currently show any of my dogs, but I plan to in the near future!
What advice do you have for any upcoming breeders?
My advice to upcoming breeders would be to make sure you are ready for the responsibility of taking care of a litter of puppies. Also, do your research beforehand, so you know what you expect. Breeding is not easy or fast money. Its a lot more work than people think. However, the experience is definitely worth it.
What do you think, is the most difficult thing for people in the bully game to overcome?
The most difficult thing for people in the bully game to overcome would have to be understanding that you will have losses. It happens…
How do you think they can overcome this thing?
All I can say is you have to stay focused when breeding. Especially in the first 2 weeks of the puppies lives, because those puppies depend on you and their mom. Sometimes there’s nothing you can do and you will lose a puppy it’s unfortunate, but it happens to the best of us. Take advantage of learning everything and anything you can from other breeders. You will learn something new everyday!
Who do you look up to in the bully game, and why?
I look up to Dark Dynasty K9’s, because they raise their bully’s the most natural healthy way, and because they are the ones who inspired us to become breeders ourselves.
Tell us about one of your most memorable moments, in 2016 so far.
Our most memorable moment in 2016, was our female Sky breeding with Jetblue of 787Debullies, they had the most gorgeous puppies!
Describe how you would want things, in the bully Commuity, to be 10 years from now.
All I can ask for is that people only breed healthy dogs, and provide the best care for the puppies they raise.
What separates your kennel from the competition?
We make sure all of our dogs are active all day and get the best exercise possible. Every dog we own is checked by the vet before breeding, to ensure they are healthy. We are very picky with what we add to our yard, so we ensure all ancestors of the dogs we own were healthy as well. We breed all different sizes and bloodlines of American Bully’s, which makes us unique.
What other hobbies or interests do you take part in?
We mainly focus on breeding American Bully’s, but we do go to dealership auctions to buy cars, fix them up, and resell them.
What motto do you live by?
The motto we live by would be “Failure isn’t an option, it’s a choice.”
What do you think of Bully Girl Magazine?
I think they are awesome! I actually read their blogs and other interviews on their website all the time!
