Tell our readers a little bit about 510Bulldogs_NDR.
My name is Nicholas Rampoldi, of 510Bulldogs_NDR. You can find us in Vacaville, California.
What type of dogs do you breed, and what inspired you to get involved with that particular breed?
We breed English Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, and Exotic American Bullies. I love all three bully breeds, so it was an easy choice for me to want to breed all three as well.
What type of diet do you keep your dogs on throughout the year?
I feed my dogs Diamond brand all life stages, which is a very good diet dog food. I can feed all three breeds, all ages as well. This is perfect, so I am not getting caught up on what i’m feeding each dog.
What is your favorite bloodline?
That is a great question, but at the moment I am fascinated with the Miagi bloodline, in the Exotic Bully.
Do you currently show, any of your dogs?
I have not currently showed any of my dogs to date, as our kennel is still up and coming. However, we have big plans in 2018. So we do plan on showing in the near future.
What advice does 510Bulldogs_NDR have for any upcoming breeders?
An OG in the game told me this… “stick with the three P’s, Passion, Pedigree, and Patience.” It is working for me!
What do you think, is the most difficult thing for people in the bully game to overcome?
I believe the most difficult thing to do is stay focused, and remember why you got in the bully game to begin with. There are so many setbacks that occur, such as death of a dog, female didn’t take, vet bills, etc. Not to mention the constant work of cleaning the dogs and cleaning up dog waste, exercise etc. This is not easy by any means.
How do you think they can overcome this thing?
To overcome hardships you have to get in the game for the pure love of the breed(s).
Who do you look up to in the bully game, and why?
Jorge Soto, Dave Wilson, Ed Shepherd to name a few. As of now I am admiring the work of Dean Bryan, CEO of Self Made Bullyz, down in South Florida, Fort Lauderdale area.
Tell us about one of 510Bulldogs_NDR main goals going into the year 2018.
My main goal is to get my Exotic Bully line running. I should be dropping puppies by mid-year!
Describe how you would want things, in the bully Community, to be 10 years from now.
I would like to see both the Exotic Bully and the American Bully be accepted as a breed of their own, without all the negativity surrounding the breed.
What separates 510Bulldogs_NDR from the competition?
We just worry about us and stick to ourselves. We don’t worry about what the next kennel is doing. Our vision is our vision, period.
In your own words, what is an Exotic Bully?
An exotic bully is short and very compact, but doesn’t lack anything in size such as head, bone, muscle, etc.
What is your opinion on the new exotic breed movement?
It is my favorite dog. I believe they are the most beautiful breed out right now. I hear a lot of negativity about exotics, but all I can say is my dog is healthy and fully functional.
What other hobbies or interests do you take part in?
I love to fish and coach football.
What do you think of Bully Girl Magazine?
I think it is a great magazine! Bully Girl Magazine provides the public with a positive outlook on the Bully Breed community.
