Where are you from, and what is your nationality?
I was born and raised on Long Island. I’m proud to be a native New Yorker!
How long have you been modeling, and what inspired you to start?
I’ve been modeling for four years, and have been a musician, actor, and dancer for much longer. Being able to express myself and connect with others through the performing arts, keeps me inspired and motivated.
How was your photo shoot with Bully Girl Magazine?
It was great! LeVar created a very comfortable and professional environment.
What was your favorite part of the photo shoot?
I loved shooting with EL JEFE. Bringing animals onto a set is always a fun and rewarding experience.
What did you think of the Bully Girl Apparel?
Bully Girl Apparel is cute and comfortable. The sporty casual look is something you can wear every day while also standing out.
Were you nervous at all working with Bully Breed dogs?
Not at all. EL JEFE was very friendly. If anyone does feel nervous, I suggest spending some time around dogs especially bully breeds; they can really bring a lot of joy to your day.
Do you have any dogs, and if so, what kind?
Yes, I have a chiweenie named Lady Sapphire. I also do a lot of dog-sitting.
Where else can our readers find you? Which social media outlets do you use?
You can check out my Facebook fan page, www.facebook.com/RisaDelAngele, and follow me on Instagram @moonchildlovee. Don’t be afraid to say hi!
If you could pick the location, where would the next photo shoot be, and why?
I get inspired by nature, so I dream about doing a forest fantasy shoot. It would be very theatrical, complete with fairy wings and maybe some cool CGI!
What other hobbies do you have, besides modeling?
When I’m not working, you can usually find me practicing violin, hiking, or discovering a fun adventure.
Tell our fans something about yourself, that not too many people know about you.
I’m a huge book nerd and love a good literary discussion. I just finished the second book of Lord of the Rings!
What are your goals for the future?
My goals include landing a role on Broadway, finish writing my play about women empowerment, and opening a drama therapy program for children.
What advice do you have for any up and coming models, or young business women out there?
Women should never take no for an answer in the business world, and always speak up and ask for what you want out of life. Building true confidence and positive beliefs about one’s self are the foundations for a happy and successful career.
What motto do you live by?
This too shall pass. It’s from an old poem, and it means that whatever you’re going through in life, whether it be good or bad, it’s temporary. This phrase keeps me afloat during bad times and helps me appreciate the good times.
