State your name, your kennel, and where your kennel is located.
My name is Steven Attebery, owner of California Supreme Bullies. You can find us in Central California.
What type of dogs do you breed, and what inspired you to get involved with that particular breed?
I breed French Bulldogs. My inspiration came after purchasing my first Frenchie in 2013. I fell in love with this breed.
What type of diet do you keep your dogs on throughout the year?
I mostly feed a kibble called Natures Domain, with some added supplementation.
What is your favorite bloodline?
That’s a tough question, being that I’m still building it, lol. There’s a lot of nice stuff out there. Each has their own desirable features. So I can’t narrow it down to one.
Do you currently show, any of your dogs?
I’m not currently showing any dogs. However, we’ll see what the future holds.
What advice does California Supreme Bullies have for any upcoming breeders?
Try not to get caught in the hype. Never pay for a stud in advance. Be prepared to take losses, and enjoy the ride.
What do you think, is the most difficult thing for people in the bully game to overcome?
Taking early L’s, and understanding that Rome wasn’t built in a day.
How do you think they can overcome this thing?
Just by staying positive, and doing things the right way. Don’t cut corners, and be patient.
Who do you look up to in the bully game, and why?
I look up to John Lomeli. He has taught me a lot, and has been on top for a long time. In a game that will chew you up and spit you out, it’s hard not to respect the success John has had for so many years.
Tell us about one of California Supreme Bullies main goals going into the year 2018.
My goal is to produce quality dogs, and advance to the next level, in a breed I feel is in its infancy.
Describe how you would want things, in the bully breed Community, to be 10 years from now.
I would just like to see continued progress. The cream always rises to the top, and I plan on seeing you there.
What separates California Supreme Bullies from the competition?
I think it would have to be my what you see is what you get motto. Also, the fact that I always try to be honest and upfront in every situation.
What other hobbies or interests do you take part in?
Between life and these dogs, I have no time, LOL.
What do you think of Bully Girl Magazine?
I think Bully Girl Magazine is great! I appreciate you for the opportunity to highlight my kennel.
