State your name, and where your kennel is located.
We are Gameplan Bullies. Our names are Elquinzie and Audrey Scott. We are originally out of Oakland, CA. You can now find us in Washington state, about 1 hour north of Vancouver, WA.
What type of dogs do you breed, and what inspired you to get involved with that particular breed?
We breed both American Bully and French bulldogs. I Elquinzie, have always fancied the bully breeds. In 2011 my wife supported us getting a bully, which became our first champion. Her name was Lady Vicious, (RIP) and we were hooked. As for the frenchies, a good friend/brother Prez Potter opened the door for us.
What type of diet do you keep your dogs on throughout the year?
We feed a raw diet consisting of beef, chicken, beef organs, and salmon.
What is your favorite bloodline?
Currently, my favorite bloodline is Daxline.
Do you currently show, any of your dogs?
Yes. We take pride in showing and competing. We currently have 7 champions, and one grand champion. One of those champions GamePlan Bullies Bambú is a Triple Champion, current #1 American Bully in the BRC, and 1 win short of becoming an ABKC Grand Champion.
What advice do you have for any upcoming breeders?
You should know what variety of bull you like, have a vision for your program, and stay true to that vision.
What do you think, is the most difficult thing for people in the bully game to overcome?
The people and level of respect many carry.
How do you think they can overcome this thing?
LOL. In my opinion, you’ve got to have tough skin.
Who do you look up to in the bully game, and why?
I don’t look up to anyone. I focus on my vision and goals. Never have I imagined that I’d be where I am today, in such short time (2011-2018).
Tell us about one of Gameplan Bullies main goals going into the year 2018.
I want to start laying the foundation by starting a non-profit organization, working with troubled youth. I want to establish a program where the children can work with the dogs. They will learn to care for them, show and title them for the completion of the program. Also, they will receive scholarships towards college or trade school.
Describe how you would want things, in the bully Community, to be 10 years from now.
Overall, we would like to see everyone become more united, and less drama amongst each other.
What separates Gameplan Bullies from the competition?
We are an honest hardworking kennel, who works and spends time with all of our dogs. Our dogs get oiut and get seen. We believe in lots of socialization.
In your own words, what is an Exotic Bully?
An exotic bully is a bully with more English Bulldog influence.
What is your opinion on the new exotic breed movement?
There’s a lot of work that needs to be done, and better breeding practices.
What other hobbies or interests do you take part in?
I’m a full time dog father. Outside of the conformation ring we are now training for protection work.
What do you think of Bully Girl Magazine?
We love Bully Girl Magazine!
