Tell our readers a little about Simply the Best Kennels.
My name is Freddy Nguyen, co-owner of Simply The Best Kennels. You can find us in Northern and Southern California.
What type of dogs do you breed, and what inspired you?
We breed French bulldogs. We were inspired by this particular breed due to their small muscular build. Also, we love their temperament, and loving personalities.
What type of diet do you keep your dogs on throughout the year?
We keep our dogs on a rotating diet throughout the year. This diet consists of raw meat and Victor brand dog food, combined with supplements.
What is your favorite bloodline?
I would have to say my favorite bloodline is the Extreme Bullies bloodline.
Do you currently show, any of your dogs?
At this moment we are not showing our dogs. However, in the future our goal is to show them all off.
What advice do you have for any upcoming breeders?
My best advice is to trust and believe in your vision. Don’t let what others are doing affect what your goals are.
What do you think, is the most difficult thing for people in the bully game to overcome?
I think the hardest part to overcome is taking a loss. Being a breeder, you put all your time and effort into a breeding, only to lose a few pups. That can take a toll on you, especially when you get attached to the litter.
How do you think they can overcome this thing?
Overcoming a death of a pup is never easy. However, being part of the bully community, we can all educate and help one another to be more prepared.
Who do you look up to in the bully game, and why?
I would have to say Jorge Soto. Jorge does a lot for the dog community by hosting great events, and bringing people together.
Tell us about one of Simply The Best Kennels main goals going into the year 2018.
Continuing to grow and become one of the most trusted kennels worldwide.
Describe how you would want things, in the bully breed Community, to be 10 years from now.
I just want the French Bulldog community to grow, and for everyone to help and support each other.
What separates Simply The Best Kennels from the competition?
Simply the Best Kennels is family oriented. Customer satisfaction is one of our top priorities.
What other hobbies or interests do you take part in?
What guy doesn’t like fishing? There’s just something about when you get a bite. All that adrenaline rushes in your body, and your mind is clear.
What do you think of Bully Girl Magazine?
I think Bully Girl Magazine is great. I love what they’re doing for the bully community.
