State your name, and where your kennel is located.
Our kennel name is 302 Bullies, and we are located in Delaware!

What type of dogs do you breed, and what inspired you to get involved with that particular breed?
We breed pocket and standard American Bullys. We were inspired to breed bully’s when we followed the world famous “hulk”, on social media. We absolutely fell in love with Hulk and all his puppies. We hope one day to purchase one of “hulks” sons or daughters, so we can also get into breeding XL bully’s!

What type of diet do you keep your dogs on throughout the year?
I actually keep my dogs on a simple diet. I give them Pro Plan 30/20 food, mixed with Ultra 24, which is a powdered milk. I add a bit of water and mix it very well! I also give my dogs Bully Max Muscle supplement pills everyday, but I make sure they get double the amount of exercise because the pills definitely give them a lot of energy. Lol.

302 BulliesWhat is your favorite bloodline?
My Favorite bloodlines would have to be Razors Edge, Fully Loaded Bully, and Bullseye blood!

Do you currently show, any of your dogs?
I actually don’t currently show any of my dogs, but I plan to in the near future!

What advice do you have for any upcoming breeders?
My advice to upcoming breeders would be to make sure you are ready for the responsibility of taking care of a litter of puppies. Also, do your research beforehand, so you know what you expect. Breeding is not easy or fast money. Its a lot more work than people think. However, the experience is definitely worth it.

What do you think, is the most difficult thing for people in the bully game to overcome?
The most difficult thing for people in the bully game to overcome would have to be understanding that you will have losses. It happens…

How do you think they can overcome this thing?
All I can say is you have to stay focused when breeding. Especially in the first 2 weeks of the puppies lives, because those puppies depend on you and their mom. Sometimes there’s nothing you can do and you will lose a puppy it’s unfortunate, but it happens to the best of us. Take advantage of learning everything and anything you can from other breeders. You will learn something new everyday!

Who do you look up to in the bully game, and why?
I look up to Dark Dynasty K9’s, because they raise their bully’s the most natural healthy way, and because they are the ones who inspired us to become breeders ourselves.

Tell us about one of your most memorable moments, in 2016 so far.302 Bullies
Our most memorable moment in 2016, was our female Sky breeding with Jetblue of 787Debullies, they had the most gorgeous puppies!

Describe how you would want things, in the bully Commuity, to be 10 years from now.
All I can ask for is that people only breed healthy dogs, and provide the best care for the puppies they raise.

What separates your kennel from the competition?
We make sure all of our dogs are active all day and get the best exercise possible. Every dog we own is checked by the vet before breeding, to ensure they are healthy. We are very picky with what we add to our yard, so we ensure all ancestors of the dogs we own were healthy as well. We breed all different sizes and bloodlines of American Bully’s, which makes us unique.

What other hobbies or interests do you take part in?
We mainly focus on breeding American Bully’s, but we do go to dealership auctions to buy cars, fix them up, and resell them.

What motto do you live by?
The motto we live by would be “Failure isn’t an option, it’s a choice.”

What do you think of Bully Girl Magazine?
I think they are awesome! I actually read their blogs and other interviews on their website all the time!

Elite Bully Kennels

Who is Elite Bully Kennels?

Tell our readers a little bit about yourself.
My name is Tim Levi, and this is my beautiful wife Fonda Levi. We represent Elite Bully Kennels. You can find us in New Port Richey Florida.

What type of dogs do you breed, and what inspired you to get involved with that particular breed?
We specialize in pocket and standard American Bullies. Like many others we started out with American Pit Bull Terriers. However, once we were introduced to the American Bully by a good friend of ours, we immediately fell in love. We were inspired by their overall appearance, temperament, and loyalty. We knew right away that this was the breed for us.

What type of diet do you keep your dogs on throughout the year?
We currently have all of our adult dogs on a high quality, grain free kibble with a 30/20 protein to fat ratio. We also include daily vitamins and rotate between coconut oil and wild alaskan salmon oil throughout the year for their skin and coats. All of our pups are given Taste of the Wild High Prairie Puppy Formula three times daily. We leave the rest to genetics.

What is your favorite bloodline?
There are so many bloodlines that bring good qualities to the table. We are currently working towards our own vision. Our vision is to have a clean, functional bully. This bully would have a lot of muscle mass, big bone, large head and a short compact frame. Without going over the edge, of course. So be sure to be on the lookout for the new Elite Line coming soon.

Do you currently show, any of your dogs?
Yes we do. Our stud El Chapo, who is off of Grand Champion RedRum, took 1st & 2nd place BBCR ribbons home this year. We are looking forward to introducing him and a couple of our productions to the ABKC in 2018.

What advice do you have for any upcoming breeders?
This isn’t a get rich quick type of business. You have to be willing to invest time, effort, and money into your program if you want to be successful.

What do you think, is the most difficult thing for people in the bullygame to overcome?
Individuals and animal rights groups that try to bring negativity about the breed, due to their own ignorance.

How do you think they can overcome this thing?
We believe that education is the key to the acceptance of the breed, and responsible breeders. Negative perceptions can be overcome by being the voice for the breed. We try to do exactly what you guys do at Bully Girl magazine. That is to offer educational and informational outlets through websites, magazines and social media. We want to showcase both the breed and responsible breeders in a positive light.

Who do you look up to in the bully game, and why?
There are quite a few people that we respect in the bully game. We appreciate the way that they have conducted business, and how they represent the bully community. We have met a lot of friends along the way, and we are looking forward to meeting many more.

Tell us about one of Elite Bully Kennels most memorable moments, in 2017 so far.
Our most memorable moment of 2017 would have to include our road trip to Georgia. We competed in a BBCR show and took home 1st and 2nd place ribbons.

Describe how you would want things, in the bully Community, to be 10 years from now.
As cliche as it might sound, we would really like to see the bully community come together as a whole. Everyone needs to focus less on the money, greed, and envy. What really matters is breeding quality dogs, that are going to bring happiness to other families for many years to come.

What separates Elite Bully Kennels from the competition?
At Elite Bully Kennels we pride ourselves on professionalism and legitimacy. We are licenced and regulated by the state of Florida. We strive to treat all of our customers with the respect, courtesy, and professionalism. They deserve it when making such a significant investment into their lifestyle.

What other hobbies or interests do you take part in?
We are very much into physical fitness and living a healthy lifestyle. We are also very family oriented, and we love doing family activities. My wife is very much involved with our children’s schools. She is the school treasurer and she is on the board of the PTO.

What motto do you live by?
Raise Your Standards!

What do you think of Bully Girl Magazine?
We think you guys are awesome! You are great advocates for the breed. We enjoy your magazine, and are big fans of your Bully Gear at BGM Warehouse. On behalf of everyone at Elite Bully Kennels, we would like to thank you very much for this opportunity!

The Bully Kingdom: American Bully Breeder | Texas

The Bully Kingdom

Who is The Bully Kingdom?

The Bully KingdomState your name, and where your kennel is located.
My name is Jacobi Guyton, of The Bully Kingdom. You can find us in Dallas, Texas.

What type of dogs do you breed, and what inspired you to get involved with that particular breed?
We breed the American Bull. I saw this beautiful breed back in the 90’s, primarly in magazines at car shows on the west coast. I always wanted one but didn’t know the name of them. Back then I was into Pit Bulls, doing dumb shit, until I couldn’t afford to be in the game any more.

Push my life 20 years forward. Everywhere  I went, I started seeing these dogs again which made me wanted to get back in the game. I always told myself, if I ever got back involved, it would all be for the greater good of the breed! I started researching these American Bullies, and learned about all the good and bad things with this breed. On instagram I ran into a breeder name Spencer from Power Circle Bullies. I noticed he had a breeding going on and I had to jump on it! We linked up and The Bully Kingdom was formed! I said “I will only breed the best. Also I will do my best to put quality bullies in lovable family homes!”

What type of diet do you keep your dogs on throughout the year?
I started with that raw diet everyone was talking about. After speaking with a few people that I trust, I just put my dogs on Eukanuba and it has been doing very well for my dogs! I now give Raw for snacks.

What is your favorite bloodline?
Daxline is my favorite blood line.

Do you currently show, any of your dogs?
No, not at this time due to my kids staying very busy, but that is something I want to do in the future though.

What advice do you have for any upcoming breeders?
Do your research. Get involved for the love of the breed. Everything else will follow. Breed what you like and create the best Bully that is functional and active, with a great temperament!

What do you think, is the most difficult thing for people in the bullygame to overcome?
Greed and Patience! You can’t just buy a dog and become a millionaire. It takes time and money to build a successful dog kennel. Don’t get caught up in the money so much that you stop creating quality dogs! Your clients want the best dog buying experience ever, and it’s your job to create that!

How do you think they can overcome this thing?
By loving the breed more!

Who do you look up to in the bully game, and why?
I have to say, I really like how Vincent over at D1 Kennels runs their business. No disrespect to anyone else. I think there are a lot of legit kennels out there.

Tell us about one of The Bully Kingdom’s most memorable moments, in 2017 so far.
My most memorable moment was having my first litter this year. Cassius Clay x Queen B! This litter produced some great looking dogs, with badass personalities!

Describe how you would want things, in the bully Community, to be 10 years from now.
I would like to see more cohesiveness in the bully community. We all love our dogs, and think our dogs are the best, but that shouldn’t get in the way of being good people. I would also like to see better productions. Take pride in your breedings and breed away from deformities, murmurs, and things that put a negative light on breed.

What separates The Bully Kingdom from the competition?
We aren’t trying to keep up with everyone. We are in our own kingdom and doing very good business! The Bully Kingdom will never be a puppy mill. Again, this is what we do because we love the breed!

What other hobbies or interests do you take part in?
I have an independent record label called Global Power Music Group (@globalpowermusicgroup on instagram). We are doing some great things over there! Check us out!

What motto do you live by?
Grind Smart, not Hard!

What do you think of Bully Girl Magazine?
We feel you all do an impeccable job with keeping great awareness about the breed. It’s always good to run into people that share the same passion. Bully Girl is always looking to shed positive light on the American Bully breed. They are linking the community together. Also, they have a dope ass clothing line as well! When looking at your magazine it is easy to see why you all are the #1 Bully Magazine out there. Thank you for your time and this opportunity!

Hammerhead Bullies

Who is Hammerhead Bullies?

State your name, and where your kennel is located.
My name is Orlando Ortiz, of Hammerhead Bullies. You can find me in San Antonio, Texas.

What type of dogs do you breed, and what inspired you to get involved with that particular breed?
At Hammerhead Bullies, we breed American Bullies. We are about to start breeding French Bulldogs. Since I was a kid growing up, we always had American Pit Bull terriers. This made me develop a passion for this at a very young age, which was a big inspiration for me.

What type of diet do you keep your dogs on throughout the year?
I try to feed my dogs a high protein, high fat diet all year long. I also add some raw feed and extra supplements during the winter months.

What is your favorite bloodline?
My favorite bloodline is the Razors Edge bloodline. In my opinion some of the best show dogs have originated from this bloodline. They just don’t get much recognition nowadays.

Hammerhead BulliesDo you currently show, any of your dogs?
No. I currently don’t show any of my dogs. Just some fun shows here and there, to let people know what Hammerhead Bullies have to offer.

What advice do you have for any upcoming breeders?
Be careful out there… Haha!

What do you think, is the most difficult thing for people in the bullygame to overcome?
The most difficult thing to overcome is other breeders bashing the next man. You can lose your vision worrying about others opinions.

How do you think they can overcome this thing?
By breeding for themselves first, and what they want to see running around their yard. Imagine a yard full of bulls you visualized. That’s the most satisfying feeling ever.

Who do you look up to in the bully game, and why?
I look up to everybody who supported us along the way. We appreciate our customers who drove and flew miles just to come and buy dogs. Some even came just to check out the yard. Also, everyone who kept It 100 throughout the years.

Tell us about one of your most memorable moments, in 2017 so far.
July 4th weekend at the Bully Beach Expo. I had the chance to meet Ed Shepherd. That man had some jokes.

Describe how you would want things, in the bully Community, to be 10 years from now.
I would like to see more unity, and less hate. Plain and simple.

What separates your kennel from the competition?
First of all we’re humble, haha. No, but our dogs have been line bred enough to stand out. They carry those exaggerated traits on a bully compact frame. Also, advertising is key.

What other hobbies or interests do you take part in?
I have no other hobbies at the moment.

What motto do you live by?
Well connected, Well respected!

What do you think of Bully Girl Magazine?
I think y’all are doing a good job with y’alls movement. Keep it up!
