This past weekend Bully Girl Magazine loaded up the truck, and set out on a 12 hour drive from New York to North Carolina. We had the pleasure of being invited to an RKC dog show titled Cancer Cant Bully Me.  Kenny and Crystal Barker hosted an amazing event in honor of, and to raise money for children fighting cancer.

Each year in the U.S. there are approximately 13,400 children between the ages of birth and 19 years of age who are diagnosed with cancer. About one in 300 boys and one in 333 girls will develop cancer before their 20th birthday… Thus making cancer the most common cause of death by disease for children and adolescents in America. The event was a huge success and hopefully will inspire others to do wonderful things for other little warriors across the map.  Not only did this event raise money for St Jude’s children’s hospital to help find cures 4 kids, but it gave a group of wonderful kids a day to shine. Kenny and Crystal held a little warriors class where all the children at the event had the opportunity to grace the show ring with their dogs, and show off all their hard work and dedication to being a great dog-man or dog-woman. The smiles on the faces of the kids, and the crowd watching were priceless.  It was our honor to be at this event, and we hope everyone enjoys our photos.
