Imperial Dynasty Kennel - American Bully Breeder

Tell our readers about Imperial Dynasty Kennel.
My name is Roger Jones II. I am the founder of Imperial Dynasty Kennel. You can find us in Petersburg, VA.

What inspired you to become an American Bully breeder?
I had a Pit Bull and bully as a child. So I have developed a deep love for this breed at a young age.

What type of diet do you keep your dogs on throughout the year?
I keep my dogs on a rotating diet throughout the year. This consists of raw food and Victor dog food, combined with supplements.

What is your favorite bloodline?
I would have to say, my favorite bloodlines are Razors Edge and Daxline.

Do you currently show, any of your dogs?
Yes. I’ve shown my black tri-color pocket bully, “Joker”, aka Money Train, in the Continental Bully Registry (CBR) Dog Show. However, I will be showing my blue and white classic bully “Havoc”, this year in some shows.

What advice do you have for any upcoming breeders?
My best advice would be to trust and believe in your vision. Don’t let others deter you from your goals.

What do you think, is the most difficult thing for people in the bully game to overcome?
The most difficult thing for people in the bully game to overcome is showing genuine love and support to each kennel.

How do you think they can overcome this thing?
I think they can overcome this by coming together and supporting each other. We need to form a sense of family and community in the bully game.

Who do you look up to in the bully game, and why?
The people I look up to in the bully game are Jerome Veney (Lep’s Showdown Kennelz LLC), Thomas Lewis (Future Bully Kennel), Amanda Reed (Lucky 7 Kennels), Judy and Michael Cook (Hillbillypimpin Kennels). I look up to these people because they have introduced me to different classes and styles of bullies. They are hands on, extremely supportive, and they help me strive to reach my goals.

Tell us about one of Imperial Dynasty Kennel main goals going into the year 2018.
My main goals going into 2018 are to start a clothing line for my kennel. However, I also want to produce the best quality dogs through my breedings, and place in more dog shows.

Describe how you would want things, in the bully breed Community, to be 10 years from now.
Ten years from now I would want the bully breed community to produce true and correct bullies no matter the class. I would also like the bully community to develop a loving, supportive, family atmosphere from small to large dog shows.

What separates Imperial Dynasty Kennel from the competition?
What separates my kennel from the competition is that I have a variety of classes of bullies. My bullies have a great temperament, and I would love to expand my kennel by adding XL’s and French bulldogs to my program.

What other hobbies or interests do you take part in?
Other hobbies I take part in are playing basketball, football, hunting, fishing, and riding dirt bikes, among other things.

What do you think of Bully Girl Magazine?
Bully Girl Magazine is an elite, well known, and well respected magazine in the bully world. Getting featured by Bully Girl Magazine is an honor and a blessing. I would love to get Joker featured on the cover one day. His father Grand Champion G-Train, from HillbillyPimpin Kennels was featured on Issue 45.
