State your name, your kennel, and where your kennel is located.
My name is Chantel Olmeda, aka King Khan Bully. I am located in Greeley, Colorado.

What type of dogs do you breed, and what inspired you to get involved with that particular breed?
We breed the American bully. We love their temperament, look, and how great they are with everyone including children! Everyone needs a bully to make them smile.

In your opinion, what are the characteristics of a responsible dog breeder?
Responsible breeders breed healthy bullies, both physically and mentally. A love for the breed is a must! Also, a responsible breeder must possess a willingness for continued learning, to better the breed.

What type of diet do you keep your dogs on throughout the year?
We keep our dogs on a simple kibble diet.

What is your favorite bloodline?
My top 3 bloodlines are Miagi, Razors Edge, and Louis V.

Do you currently show any of your dogs?
Unfortunately, we do not show any of our dogs yet.

What advice do you have for any upcoming breeders?
Patience, health, and education are a must! Also make sure you’re in it for the love of the breed. Don’t just look at them like they are dollar signs.

What do you think, is the most difficult thing for people in the bully game to overcome?
The most difficult thing to overcome is dishonesty, and breeders who just chase money and give the breed a bad name.

How do you think they can overcome this thing?
The best thing you can do is to do your research. Learn as much as you can about a breeder beforehand.

Who do you look up to in the bully game, and why?
I really respect Thee bullco TM because he is an honest breeder. He takes time to train and get to know the breed, has healthy dogs, and likes to help others in the bully game.

Tell us about one of the goals for King Khan Bully for the year 2019.
Our main goal for 2019 is to get our kennel up and running.

Describe how you would want things, in the bully breed Community, to be 10 years from now.
I would like to see healthier dogs, and honest breeders.

What separates King Khan Bully from the competition?
Our kennel isn’t up and running yet. However, all of our dogs will be health tested, and registered. My dogs will come first before the money.

What other hobbies or interests do you take part in?
I enjoy going to the gym, playing softball, and bowling.

What do you think of Bully Girl Magazine?
I think it’s great that Bully Girl Magazine gives female breeders have a platform to show case our love for the breed. Also, I love that you reach out to people that are just beginning, and giving them a chance to promote themselves as well.
