We are JD and Melynie Stroud, founders of Strouds Legacy Bullies. You can find us in Greenville, SC.

What type of dogs do you breed, and what inspired you to get involved with that particular breed?
We breed American Bullies. We both had American Pit Bull Terriers at a young age. About 10 years ago a friend of ours introduced us to an American Bully puppy and we were hooked. That puppy is now going on 11 years of age, and still going strong. We pray she has many more years to spend with us.

What type of diet do you keep your dogs on throughout the year?
We feed our dogs Victor brand super premium dog food hi-pro plus for dogs and puppies.

What is your favorite bloodline?
Some of our favorite bloodlines are Daxline, Razors Edge, and Magoo.

Do you currently show, any of your dogs?
Yes! We have a pocket American bully that has been in 2 shows now, and we have a puppy in training.

What advice do you have for any upcoming breeders?
My advice to any upcoming breeders would be to make sure you do your research on everything before you make a decision.

What do you think, is the most difficult thing for people in the bully game to overcome?
One of the most difficult things for people in the bully game to overcome is being judgmental, and showing hate towards others visions.

How do you think they can overcome this thing?
Bring more positivity to the bully community. Instead of being negative or hateful, try to educate and help those who need it.

Who do you look up to in the bully game, and why?
There is a lot of people who put a lot of work and love in to this beautiful breed. We look up to those that are making it better for the breed.

Tell us about one of your main goals going into the year 2018.
Going into 2018 we plan to learn more about the show ring and learne more ways to better this amazing breed.

Describe how you would want things, in the bully breed Community, to be 10 years from now.
Ten years from now I want the bully community to be more united. I would like to see people become more open minded to educating others on bettering the breed.

What separates your kennel from the competition?
What separates us from the competition, is that we are not competing. We want to help educate and show love for all who are working to better the breed.

What other hobbies or interests do you take part in?
Our family likes to go fishing and kayaking. We love the outdoors.

What do you think of Bully Girl Magazine?
Bully Girl Magazine is a great way to keep up with whats going on in the bully community. We want to thank them for letting us be a part of it.
